Become An MEP

In the United Kingdom, 72 MEPs will be elected from 12 regions. The Jury Team intends to put forward 70 candidates for the UK - this is your chance to make a difference!

You can put yourself forward to run as a candidate for the European Parliament. In order to do so you will be asked to fill in a form setting out your background, interests, political priorities and so forth. We also charge an administration fee of £10, which includes membership of the Jury Team.

Once you have filled out the form and found two people to be your 'proposer' and 'seconder' (to approve your application) you will gain a profile on the site and a candidate code and people will be able to vote for you using their mobile phone. The candidates with the most votes on Friday 24th April will be selected as the official Jury Team European Parliamentary Candidates and will go forward for the elections on 4th June.

Until the voting closes all campaigning will be done online, so you should be able to fit it around your current commitments.

If you think you or someone you know could make a difference, start filling out a form today. You do not have to do it all in one go - so spend a bit of time and make sure you get in everything you want people to know about you. Good luck!

THE APPLICATION PERIOD HAS ENDED.
